I have so many excuses for not blogging in such a long time: no time, no idea where to find stuff, no computer (the laptop died during the move), not enough sleep (we all slept in the same bedroom while in temp housing), but mostly too preoccupied and frazzled to pull out the camera when the kids were being their funny, goofy selves during this transition.
However, we're finally settling into the new house. We moved in a couple weeks ago after a whirlwind close of escrow. We got a new computer--an iMac this time, which I like just fine. Everyone is sleeping in their own beds in their own rooms. Jeff and I are also coming to the realization that, although this isn't our absolute favorite place in the whole wide world, our life here in LA isn't half bad. The house is starting to feel like home, and we're getting psyched about and gearing up for the renovation to come. In the meantime, here are some long overdue pix of the kiddos...

Yes, I have to sit on Ruby in order to brush her teeth. Isn't there a wrestling term for this hold?

After putting the kids to bed one night at the Oakwood (temp housing), we found Ruby sound asleep while dangerously cantilevered over a completely unsuspecting Levi.

I've got to hand it to Roo for being such a good sport with the kids.
