Hippity Happity A Day

Well, at the time I thought about this blog entry, the topic was current. Now it's old and stale and vorbei but I'm going to write about it anyway. Jeff and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary a week and half ago. I know, in the grand scheme of things, it's not a very long time. It really does sound more impressive when translated to 42 dog years. But it's a milestone nonetheless. We marked the occasion by hiring our trusty babysitter for the evening and going out to eat at the local Persian restaurant, Shalizaar. We liked the food, but didn't love it. But we did love having uninterrupted conversation and eating our meal while it was still warm!!! We were done with dinner and back in the driveway by 8:30. We told each other that it was out of consideration for our babysitter, who was giving us a freebie on account of our anniversary and all. However, I think it had more to do with not knowing what to do with that strange and rare thing called Free Time.
